"One belief is that clear crystal glass represents the transparency a couple shares in their relationship after 15 years of marriage," explains Samantha Iacia, editor at The Knot. "When held up to the light, crystal glimmers and sparkles, reminding you that the original spark of your love is always there if you look for it."

In addition to crystal, Iacia says there are three other symbols that hold special meaning for celebrating 15 years of wedded bliss:
- Red: To symbolize passion, courage and strength.
- Roses: This classic flower is the height of romance.
- Rubies: If you're looking for a jewelry gift, Iacia says the red ruby is the gemstone you'll want to look for. (Bonus points if they're a Cancer or early Leo. Ruby is the birthstone for July!)
