When it comes to you and your beauty routine, you deserve the best of the best. To help you discover exactly that, NewBeauty recently announced the winners of their 16th Annual Beauty Awards, showcasing top-rated picks across the categories of skin, makeup, body, hair care and more.
Sarah Eggenberger, the senior editor-at-large at NewBeauty and a TODAY contributor, stopped by Studio 1A to discuss some of her favorites from the broad list of winners. The NewBeauty team narrowed down the best beauty products and treatments through rigorous testing and reporting, and selected 395 winners that impressed them the most. They also enlisted an expert panel of 150 board-certified dermatologists and plastic surgeons to offer their expertise.

"When hair is damaged from bleach, heat or repeated styling, it's structurally weakened, which is why it starts snapping, tangling, and losing shine," explains Eggenberger. Your skin works extra hard while you sleep, so using a healing night cream will help boost the magic, like the L'Oreal Paris Age Perfect Midnight Cream. With antioxidants and vitamin E, the moisturizer repairs the skin barrier overnight, promoting a firmer, more radiant complexion.
"The real payoff shows up in the morning," says Eggenberger. "Skin looks more even, feels more comfortable, and makeup tends to sit better because the surface is smoother."
Best lip gloss:
According to the brand, this hydrating lip tint acts like a lip balm, lip mask, and lip gloss in one, making it equally nourishing and shiny. “Pay attention to how your lips feel at the end of the day,” says Eggenberger. “That’s the difference between a gloss you like and the one you actually keep using.”
Best volumizing mascara:
