Banana Bread French Toast

What could be better than French toast for breakfast? French toast make with sweet, tender slices of banana bread! It amps up the flavor with fresh fruitiness and a lovely swirl of cinnamon.

Ingredients

  • Butter or oil to coat pan
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 8-9 slices pre-made banana bread (recipe linked above)

Preparation

1.

Heat a non-stick pan or griddle over medium high heat and coat pan with a tablespoon of butter or oil.

2.

In a deep pie dish, beat eggs then whisk in milk, vanilla extract and cinnamon until combined.

3.

Dip each slice of banana bread into the batter for 3 seconds, coating each side evenly.

4.

Fry each slice of bread in the pan or griddle until golden brown on both sides.
