What could be better than French toast for breakfast? French toast make with sweet, tender slices of banana bread! It amps up the flavor with fresh fruitiness and a lovely swirl of cinnamon.
Ingredients
- Butter or oil to coat pan
- 4 large eggs
- 1/3 cup milk
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 8-9 slices pre-made banana bread (recipe linked above)
Preparation
1.Heat a non-stick pan or griddle over medium high heat and coat pan with a tablespoon of butter or oil.
2.In a deep pie dish, beat eggs then whisk in milk, vanilla extract and cinnamon until combined.
3.Dip each slice of banana bread into the batter for 3 seconds, coating each side evenly.
4.Fry each slice of bread in the pan or griddle until golden brown on both sides.
