TODAY's Al Roker gets up every morning at 3 a.m. To keep him energized, every morning he drinks this kombucha tea with lots of fresh ginger and listens to the "A-Team" theme song.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup peeled and chopped fresh ginger
  • 1 bottle Kombucha, preferably with ginger

Preparation

Place fresh ginger in a tall drinking container. Add as much kombucha as desired, and let steep 15-20 minutes before drinking. Or take it on the go and sip as desired. More kombucha can be added as it’s finished, and the chopped ginger should be eaten along the way as well.
