When it comes to getting a good night's rest, it doesn't just rely on counting sheep. In our opinion, the best sleep is dependent on all of the essentials that encourage comfort, relaxation and routine.

But for many people, even meeting the required minimum hours for sleep can be challenging — us included. Our first-ever Sleep Awards in 2025 encouraged our team to look at sleep differently by testing and reviewing the best pillows, sleep tech, bedding, to name a few, that would stop us from hitting snooze (which, we've continued into 2026!). We even went deep undercover to answer some common sleep questions (hint: You should be washing your sheets more!), testing product for specific types of sleepers and diving into what sleep essentials our readers were shopping for the most.

While we know catching better Zzz's varies day by day, these 100 sleep products consistently kept our editors (and readers!) cool, ache-free and more rested. Plus, don't miss the recent winners of our 2026 Sleep Awards.

Best pillows

Osteo Cervical Pillow for Neck Pain Relief

If you're a side-sleeper, commerce writer Emma Stessman found immediate alignment upon the first night of testing this award-winning cervical pillow. "Instead of making my neck bend in odd ways (which would sometimes lead to morning kinks and discomfort), thanks to the hollow center, this pillow allowed me to lie comfortably on my side without putting my head at an odd angle," she wrote in her review.

Save My Face Pillow

It might look a little funky, but this adaptable pillow delivers more than meets the eye. With 100% cotton material, plush design and cervical support, the pillow is designed to elevate your face and keep your facial tissue away from the pillow surface.

Tuft & Needle Zip Comfort Pillow

Finding the right pillow for your sleep style can be tricky. Tuft & Needle simplifies the search process with a fully customizable design. "It is so hard for me to find a good pillow. I need it to be soft, but not so soft that it offers inadequate support,” commerce writer Danielle Murphy reveals. “This one from Tuft & Needle is truly a Goldilocks product in that regard. It’s just really, really comfortable.”

Coop Sleep Goods Original Adjustable Pillow

Tired of a stiff or flat pillow? Coop's Original Pillow comes with a memory foam fill you can add or remove to create your perfect firmness and height.

Buffy Wiggle Pillow

For full-body support during sleep, resting and pregnancy, our team says the Wiggle Pillow from Buffy deserves a spot on your bed. "Its 82-inch length allows me to use it as a head pillow AND a knee pillow at the same time," deputy managing editor Jess Bender raves.

Ostrichpillow Memory Foam Bed Pillow

While not your typical 'flat' pillow, this unique pick is ergonomically shaped to fit the natural curvature of your neck for better alignment (and less stiff nights).

Purple Harmony Pillow

The term 'breathable' is often thrown around when it comes to bedding. But when it comes to staying sweat-free in the night, the Purple Harmony Pillow has a 'temperature-balancing GelFlex Grid' and moisture-wicking covering to help you stay cool while you sleep.

"With other pillows, I used to wake up to breakouts, especially in my chin area. They either lacked ventilation — causing the heat to mix with the oils on my face — or included materials that agitated my skin," freelance writer Colleen Sullivan wrote in her review. "After sleeping on the Purple pillow, my skin looks much better, and I'm back to applying my regular nightly beauty products without experiencing morning skin issues."

"Bar none, this is the best pillow I've ever used in my adult life since I received it," says deputy managing editor Jess Bender about Purple's GridCloud Pillow.

Best comforters, pillowcases and sheets

Bedsure Satin Pillowcase

You don't always need to splurge on bedding. Case in point: Bedsure's Satin Pillow Case, which associate editor Kamari Stewart-Jackson has owned for over six years.

" I didn’t imagine I’d keep them for very long, assuming they’d fall apart quickly since they were less than $10. Once again, I was wrong," she wrote in her review.

Nestl Blue Heaven Duvet Cover

Despite its under $30 price tag, freelance writer Katie Jackson described the Nestl Duvet Cover as luxurious, soft and high-quality for what it's worth. Read her review here.

Kitsch Satin Pillowcase

From anti-aging benefits for the skin to frizz-free strands, a satin pillow case can provide more beauty benefits than one might think. This pick from Kitsch boasts a near-perfect rating from nearly 30,000 Amazon shoppers.

LuxClub 4-Piece Queen Sheet Set

“Having had these sheets for years, I put them on my bed at least once a month and have loved them since the first try,” shares editor Vivien Moon. “They’ve been washed countless times and never lose their softness ... if I had to do a blind test, I would price these at triple their actual cost because they’re so incredible. I love that they’ve lasted so long and are just as comfortable as they were the first time I put them on my bed."

Mellanni Queen Sheets Set

If you're a frequent reader on our site, you've most likely seen the Mellanni Queen Sheets Set recommended multiple times by our editors. Along with its unbeatable price, what people mostly love is the temperature-regulating and moisture-wicking fabric.

Bedsure Gentlesoft 2-in-1 Queen Comforter Set

Described as a "cocoon of warmth" by Stewart-Jackson, this deluxe comforter set nearly sold out on the show because of all that it comes with: A comforter, blanket (yes, really!), pillowcases and pillow shams. You'll be ready for bed with this deal.

YnM Weighted Blanket

“I don’t know how I’ve gone this long in life without using a weighted blanket, as this one helped me wind down better than a good book or cup of tea,” says associate editor, Allie Wise. “This budget-friendly blanket is super soft, durable and comes in a variety of colorways. Also, as someone who moves around a lot in their sleep, this trusted blanket helps me stay in one place.”

Sijo Eucalyptus Bed Blanket

"When it comes to bedding, I’m always looking for a blanket or comforter that offers some cooling benefits since my boyfriend and I run quite hot while we’re sleeping," describes Bender. After searching, the editor discovered Sijo's Eucalyptus Bed Blanket, which she found "the perfect length to keep both of us covered comfortably" and "incredibly breathable so we’re not waking up in sweats as we do with other throws."

Bearaby Tree Napper

Bearaby's Tree Napper is loved by multiple Shop TODAY editors for its even weight distribution and luxe design, making it equally practical and stylish for draping over your bed or couch.

“I’ve been using this weighted blanket for over a year now and whenever I sleep somewhere that’s not my own bed, I find myself missing it," reveals Stessman.

Best mattresses, toppers and bed frames

Brooklinen Down Alternative Mattress Topper

“I’ve been sleeping on this mattress topper for about, a year and I wish I could’ve slept on it for my entire life,” explains Bender. “It provides a little extra cushioning and support for my body without budging, which is an issue I’ve come across with thicker mattress toppers.”

Buffy Plushy Mattress Protector

Though marketed as a mattress topper, Buffy's Plushy Mattress Protector adds a second layer of comfort because of its fluffy structure. "I have been using this for over a week, and I definitely don’t want to go back," wrote SEO writer Jannely Espinal. "While my mattress has a pillow top, this topper adds comfort without the bulky feel."

Helix Dual Comfort Mattress Topper

This 2-in-1 mattress topper has one soft side and one firm side for opposite styles of sleepers to rest comfortably. It's a favorite of Moon's, who notes that it also makes for a great mattress topper for couples with different firmness preferences.

Ikea Brimnes Bed Frame with Storage

If you need extra storage space, Ikea's Brimnes Bed Frame is built with under-the-bed drawers that make it a simple yet practical bed frame. Available in full, queen and king sizes.

Eco Terra Hybrid Latex Mattress

“My parents have had an Eco Terra mattress since 2021, so I decided to get one for my new apartment based on two key features,” shares associate editor Lauren Witonsky. “The first is durability. I can sleep on pretty much any kind of mattress, but since I’m a stomach sleeper, it’s better for alignment if I sleep on a firm surface. I find Eco Terra’s medium-firm option to be very comfortable, and my parents’ five-year-old mattress feels the same as my brand-new one (for what it’s worth, my dad is a back sleeper and my mom is a side sleeper, and it has worked for all of us).”

Naturium Phyto-Glow Lip Mask

One of my [San Miguel] favorite overnight lip products, the best way I could describe the texture of Naturium's Phyto-Glow Lip Mask is a wrap of moisture around the lips. Since it is thick, the award-winning lip mask is ideal for overnight use. However, a little goes a long way even with its large container, so expect it to last you a long while.

Kitsch Satin Heatless Curling Set

This viral, 100% satin hair hack creates effortless curls without the heat damage. Just twist your strands around the rod, secure with the included scrunchies and wake up with your hair already done.

“I could talk about these for hours (but I won’t), so I’ll just say this: they are truly the easiest, quickest and least harmful way to curl your hair,” says associate producer Alexa Arent.

Abib PDRN Collagen Lip Mask

According to commerce editor and producer Julie Ricevuto, the lip mask above delivers "baby soft" lips overnight. “It’s thick and glossy, which I love putting on before bed because I wouldn’t necessarily want something so thick during the day,” she says.

Biodance Bio-Collagen Real Deep Mask

This K-beauty sheet mask goes on opaque and turns sheer after a few hours, signaling that the ultra-hydrating ingredients have soaked into your skin. It currently has an average 4.5 rating from over 37,000 reviewers on Amazon.

My Flexy Bio Collagen Overnight Facial Mask

Moon tested this recent launch for our recent Sleep Awards, and experienced "more hydration" upon use, thanks to its rich formula of hyaluronic acid, collagen and peptides. "When it comes to face masks, I love one that doesn’t drip and takes time to sink into the skin — this one fits the bill,” she shares. “It’s an easy mask to add to my routine and put on after an exhaustive day or to combat the Sunday scaries.”

Nakery Beauty SkinRecovery Relaxing Magnesium Balm

Nakery calls their SkinRecovery Relaxing Magnesium Balm an 'overnight essential' for a good night's rest. Infused with magnesium, retinol and melatonin, the body balm encourages better sleep while also repairing the skin.

Clevr Sleeptime SuperLatte

With a satin-polyester blend, Kitsch's Satin Pillow Eye Mask is plush and ultra-gentle on the delicate eye area, according to our editors. “The satin fabric doesn’t pull on your skin and it’s cushioned [and] padded for extra comfort," chimes Ricevuto.

Amazon Essentials Women's Lightweight Waffle Full-Length Robe

This cotton-blend waffle robe comes in multiple colors and sizes that feel comfortable, breathable and cozy for post-bath or pre-makeup wear.

Latuza Women's V-Neck Short Sleeve Bamboo Pajama Set

Nodpod Sleep Mask

Light a weighted blanket for your eye area, the Nodpod Sleep Mask is one of our favorite eye masks for blocking out light because of its pressure-point activating design.

Dearfoams Fireside Greta Genuine Shearling Clog

From lounging at home to running errands, these versatile shearling slippers are built for both indoor and outdoor use.

Eileen West Ballet Sleeveless Nightgown

"I typically run hot at night and wake up in a pool of sweat more often than not (even during the winter), so I stick with lightweight clothing as much as I can," says Moon. "I can’t sleep in a tee or most clothing, which is why I love this nightgown. It’s airy enough and so comfortable that I wear it all year long and can wake up feeling fine."

Dreamegg White Noise Machine

The Dreamegg White Noise Machine earned the spot as the 'best white noise machine' in both our Sleep Awards and Ranked series for its ability to reduce outside noise and fill quiet spaces with favorable sounds. Casper Sleep Glow Night Light

Loop Quiet 2 Earplugs

Snoring partners and honking cars are no match for the Loop Quiet 2 Earplugs, with a 24 dB (SNR) of noise reduction ability and flexible fit to protect your ears. Garlin, who lives in a street-facing apartment, found the earplugs effective at blocking out unwanted loud noise.

Oasis Single Ambient Light

This ambient light follows your day by filling your space with “warm, cozy and inviting” light, per Witonsky, compared to harsh overhead lights. “As for whether these lights ‘nudge your body to release melatonin,’ I accidentally fell asleep on my couch for the first time while using them,” she claims.

Hatch Baby

“Spoiler alert: You don’t need a baby to enjoy this,” spills Garlin. “I love the sleek look and the way it acts as a lamp, alarm clock and sound machine. It looks beautiful on my nightstand.”

But for parents who want a multi-functional alarm clock, the Hatch Baby helps guide your little one with healthy sleep patterns and routines via customizable light and sound that you can control through your device.

Hatch Restore 3

“Forget the rude awakening of a blaring alarm in a pitch-black room ... the gradual sunrise and gentle sounds make waking up so much more pleasant,” boasts production associate Audrey Ekman. “I feel less groggy and out of it when I wake up to this versus a standard alarm! Plus, it doubles as a noise machine!”

Amazon Kindle Paperwhite

“As someone who travels often, commutes to work regularly and lives in a small NYC apartment, the fact that it’s easy-to-handle on the go and that it saves me living space (my shelves are already too full!) has totally won me over,” shares partnerships associate editor Erica Marrison in a multi-editor loved review. “Plus, connecting it to the Libby app is going to save me a ton of money on books. Through Libby, I’m connected to my local library, so I can take books out as I please — pressure-free.”

Ozlo Sleepbuds

Outside of reducing outside sound, the Ozlo Sleepbuds replace those unwanted noises with up to 10 hours of your favorite streaming audio. They also act as an alarm clock so you can wake up easily when you need to, without potentially disturbing others, which is a feature that Moon loved when testing the earbuds. Thus, the earbuds are built for sleep, not for calls, so they're best for all-night wear.
