At Shop TODAY, we take sleep seriously. So much so, in fact, that we even launched our first-ever Shop TODAY Sleep Awards last year, dedicated to showcasing the very best sleep products in every category, from pillows to sleep tech.

And now, after months of researching, testing, and yes, logging plenty of restful nights of sleep (it's a tough job, but someone has to do it), the winners of our 2026 Sleep Awards are here! To share some of the award-winning sleep products, Shop TODAY executive editor Adrianna Brach stopped by the show with picks that our editors can't stop raving about.

Our team tried nearly 200 products, ranging from cooling pillows to mattresses for side sleepers, to determine the absolute best ones that will help you sleep better at night. Keep reading to see some of the award-winning products, from innovative sleep tech to overnight beauty solutions, and you can see our full list of winners here.

The comforter that will best keep you feeling warm and cozy in the colder seasons isn’t always the one that you want during those hot summer months. However, we don’t all have room to store multiple cover options in our closets. That’s where this two-in-one set comes in. It comes with a standard comforter (as well as pillowcases and shams) and a soft blanket that can be easily attached to boost its coziness and warmth.

If you’re shopping on the Bedsure site, use the code TODAY to get 30% off the set until 3/18.

Tuft & Needle Zip Comfort Pillow

According to sleep expert Dr. Wendy Troxel, to help prevent pain and make it easier to fall asleep, your pillow ideally should keep your neck in neutral alignment — so it’s not tilting forward or back — and shouldn’t be overly firm or soft.

Writer Danielle Murphy appreciates how this adjustable Tuft & Needle pillow seems to fit in that in-between space. “It is so hard for me to find a good pillow. I need it to be soft, but not so soft that it offers inadequate support,” she shares. “This one from Tuft & Needle is truly a Goldilocks product in that regard. It’s just really, really comfortable.”

Use the exclusive code TODAY to get 30% off the pillow on the Tuft & Needle site until March 18.

Hatch Restore 3

Hatch Baby

Clinical psychologist and sleep expert Dr. Shelby Harris says that she loves a sunrise alarm clock, and Hatch, in particular, is a great option. The screen-free alarm clock not only helps you wake up gently with a gradual light and non-jarring sounds, but it also supports your natural circadian rhythm with a nighttime routine that quiets your mind for deeper sleep.

Plus, Hatch Baby is our top pick for the most aesthetic alarm clock. With its soothing sounds, lights and helpful custom routines, it's a great choice for your baby's room — though we recommend it for adults without kids, too.

Loop Quiet 2 Earplugs

Noise — especially from your bedmate — can lead to poorer quality sleep, Troxel shares. “Earplugs can help reduce nighttime disturbances and protect sleep continuity and quality.”

And while there are a number of earplugs out there, Loop is a top pick among our editors. Thankfully, Loop’s plugs come with four different ear tip sizes that you can swap out to find your best fit.

According to the brand, they deliver 24 dB (SNR) of noise reduction, which associate editor Shannon Garlin says is enough to block out the noises of living on a street-facing apartment, as well as “snores from partners and parents, too.”

Abib PDRN Collagen Lip Mask

Take getting your beauty sleep to the next level with this award-winning lip mask. It features PDRN and 3D collagen, which the brand says helps to restore hydration and elasticity. And editor and producer, Julie Ricevuto, says that it makes her lips "baby soft." "It's thick and glossy, which I love putting on before bed because I wouldn't necessarily want something so thick during the day," she adds.

Clevr Sleeptime SuperLatte

Looking for a nightcap that won't wreak havoc on your sleep? This pre-bedtime latte may be just what you need. The caffeine- and dairy-free mix features ingredients like ashwagandha, reishi, L-theanine and more.

When she's up late tossing and turning, deputy managing editor Jess Bender says a "‘sleepytime" sip, like this latte, does just the trick."

Threshold Blackout Aruba Window Curtain Panel

If you want your space to support a good night's rest, sleep expert Andrew Colsky tells us that your bedroom ideally should be "dark, quiet, cool and comfortable." He adds, "Darkness helps your brain release melatonin, so use blackout curtains if you can."

Of the blackout curtains we tested, this claimed our top spot. Bender says that they're extremely effective at blocking light — so much so that during peak daylight hours, when you may be able to see a little bit of light coming through, it feels more like dusk in her apartment.

LuxClub 4-Piece Queen Sheet Set

Editor Vivien Moon fell in love with these sheets from the first time she slept on them a few years ago — and she still swears by them to this day. "They've been washed countless times and never lose their softness, which is so wonderful," she shares. "I am truly in love with these sheets and have not been disappointed with them once."

Oasis Single Ambient Light

This light is designed to mimic the sun, shifting from bright in the morning to warmer and dimmer in the evenings, which the brand says encourages your body to release melatonin and ease you into sleep.

Associate editor Lauren Witonsky says the light has given her home a "warm, cozy and inviting," feeling that she doesn't get from the harsh overhead lights. "As for whether these lights 'nudge your body to release melatonin,' I accidentally fell asleep on my couch for the first time while using them," she shares.

You can also add the same smart bulb from the Oasis Ambient Light to your other lighting fixtures for better light throughout your house (they connect to the Oasis app, too!):

Flewd Insomnia Ending Soak

There's nothing better than a warm soak at the end of the day. Just ask Garlin. "A relaxing bath really helps me wind down after a long day," she shares. And her secret to taking soaks to the next level? This treatment.

It features ingredients like magnesium, vitamins A and E and l-carnitine and has a sweet and floral yuzu scent. "This, combined with a hot tub and dim lights? A blissful night of sleep," Garlin says.

Nakery Beauty SkinRecovery Relaxing Magnesium Balm

Consider this an overnight cream for your body: Just apply it before bed and the brand says that it will help visibly tighten, tone and lift skin, thanks to ingredients like retinol and magnesium. When you use the code TODAY, you can save 30% across the Nakery site until March 18.

Hugimals Hugarounds Ollie The Orangutan

Not only is Ollie the orangutan a particularly cute snuggling companion for both adults and kids, he can also be a soothing tool for your sleep routine. The plush is both microwaveable and freezer-safe, so it can deliver targeted heat or cooling wherever you need it. It's also weighted for an additional comforting sensation. While Ollie is particularly cute, the brand also offers sloth, bat and sea turtle versions.

Zuvas Desk Fan

Whether you need a portable fan for afternoon naps by the pool or something to keep you cool during hot summer nights, this desk fan should do the trick. It has three different speeds and an adjustable stand, so you can personalize your level of cooling. The brand also says that it’s 25% quieter than similar fans, so it’s perfect for running at night.

Glocusent Portable Clip-on LED Reading Light

No matter how much you love your bedmate, sharing a bed can sometimes be tough if you have different sleep schedules or rituals. While your partner may fall asleep straight away, you may need some entertainment before you doze off. If you fall into that latter category, this clip-on light will be a helpful tool, allowing you enough light to read, write, work on embroidery projects and more while your partner sleeps.

You can switch between five different brightness modes and three reading modes. According to the brand, the amber mode filters blue light to help protect your eyes and reduce strain.

Earth Therapeutics Elixir of Dreams Pillow Mist

Another way to set yourself up for a night of peaceful rest is by giving your pillow a spritz or two of this mist, which features Valerian root and lavender. (Some studies have shown that inhaling the scent of lavender essential oil may help improve sleep quality.)

Dearfoams Women's Hannah Festive Knit Clog Slipper

Cute, cozy and under $25? It doesn’t get better than these slippers, which social video producer Anita Chomenko calls “incredibly soft.” They’re also not your average house slippers. They have a grippy sole on the bottom, so they work just as well for mailbox runs or trips to the corner store as they do for lounging around your home. To make things even better, they’re machine-washable, too.

Bare Necessities The Cooling Piped Pajama Set

Love the look of a cute hot pajama set, but hate how stuffy some of the most popular options can feel? We have the perfect solution for you: Bare Necessities' cooling pajamas. They're designed to wick away sweat and have a Cool Jade tech fabric, so you stay comfortable all night long.

Bali Breathe Lace-Trim Nightgown

"If you're a hot sleeper like me, nightgowns are where it's at! They're way more breathable than traditional PJ sets," shares production associate Audrey Ekman. And this nightgown takes the breathability to the next level, with soft and airy material. "Out of all of my PJs, I reach for this one first after laundry day!"

Farmacy Niacinamide Overnight Face Mask

This face mask works its magic while you sleep. It features a 10% concentration of niacinamide, which the brand says helps to improve skin texture, tone and strengthen your moisture barrier.

Associate editor Dani Musacchio says that she appreciates how “luxurious” it feels on her skin. “I have oily skin, but it didn’t feel too greasy or heavy. I love how it has niacinamide in it, so I can skip adding an extra serum to my skin care routine.”

Threshold Performance Sheet Set

According to the experts we spoke with, cotton sheets tend to be more breathable, making them a good choice for hot sleepers. And these 100% cotton sheets from Target have a sateen finish, so they feel smooth, luxurious and super comfortable.

MeUndies UltraModal Long Sleeve PJ Set

One editor's husband says that he never wears real pajamas to bed, but this pair changed his mind completely — and we can see why! The PJs are made with a MicroModal fabric that comes from beechwood trees, and the brand says that the result is a "softer-than-soft" material that's also breathable and static-resistant.

How we chose

Our team of editors, writers and staffers sorted through nearly 300 new launches, editor and expert recommendations, trending and tried-and-true products to solidify our testing pool of 175 contenders. To determine our list of 65 winners, we incorporated products into our sleep routines over the span of a month to see if they meet requirements when it comes to quality, special features, value and overall satisfaction for bedding, sleepwear, gadgets, beauty products and other bedtime innovators. Finally, our panel of experts reviewed some of our winners to give their sign-off based on durability, material and other features that make a quality sleep product.
