Associate editor Allie Wise gifted her mom these preserved flowers last year, mainly because they require little-to-no maintenance. “I figured my mom has enough to do, so this way she could enjoy an arrangement of gorgeous roses without having to take care of them daily...like she does with all her kids!” jokes Wise.
