- 1 quart pear nectar
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 2 star anise
- One 1-inch piece of ginger, peeled and sliced
- Peel of an orange, pith removed
- Sliced Bosc and Bartlett pears for garnish
In a large pot bring everything except the pear slices to a boil. Simmer for 5 minutes, reduce heat to low for 20 minutes longer. Strain and ladle into mugs and garnish with sliced pears.
