Trump’s attorney calls for end to Mueller investigation
President Trump’s personal lawyer John Dowd told NBC News that the Justice Department should end Robert Mueller’s investigation into Russian meddling in the 2016 presidential election. Meanwhile, Trump tweeted support for the recent decision to fire former FBI deputy director Andrew McCabe just two days before he would have been eligible to receive pension benefits for 20 years of service.
