While Prime Day was previously a two-day sale, last year, the retailer expanded it to four days and is continuing on that schedule this year, giving customers even more time to shop.

In the past, Amazon Prime Day has been a 48-hour savings event , which is exclusive to Prime members around the world. Historically, it had fallen over a two-day period in July, and the retailer has held an additional savings event in the fall. Last year, however, the summer sales event was over the span of four days.
