Well, now you can be: Walmart just announced that it’s kicking off the holiday shopping season earlier than ever with its very first Walmart Holiday Deals event happening next month.
Starting Tuesday, Oct. 8, customers can shop this year’s most-wanted deals across many categories including electronics, fashion, toys and more on walmart.com and via the Walmart app, according to a press release shared today. Walmart Plus members will get to shop 12 hours earlier than anyone else, starting at 12 a.m. ET, with general access beginning at noon ET. In-store deals will be available Oct. 9 when local store's open. Per the retailer, the six-day sale will run through Oct. 13 and feature steep discounts on top national brands such as Apple, Samsung and PlayStation.

What is the Walmart Holiday Deals event?
The Walmart Holiday Deals event is the retailer’s first holiday savings event of 2024 and will allow shoppers to start tackling their gift lists “earlier than ever.”
“We know many of our customers are beginning to prepare for their holiday celebrations early, and we’ve adapted our approach to best meet their needs,” said Latriece Watkins, Walmart’s executive vice president and chief merchandising officer, in the release.
When is the Walmart Holiday Deals event?
The 2024 Walmart Holiday Deals event runs from Oct. 8 through Oct. 13 on walmart.com and via the Walmart app, with in-store access starting on October 9.
