Oprah Winfrey is an icon. For decades, she has been a renowned talk show host, actress, author and media professional. But in the shopping world — especially during gifting season — she's best known for her list of Favorite Things.

Considering how much we've loved her Favorite Things in the past, we feel it only makes sense to trust her team for all things beauty-related, too. So, when Oprah Daily released their 2024 Beauty O-Wards, which features 73 winners in categories ranging from skin care to makeup, we were more than excited.

To walk you through some of their top picks, Pilar Guzmán, Editorial Director of Oprah Daily, recently stopped by TODAY with some of the magazine's most loved picks from the list. Best hair color tool: L’Oréal Colorsonic Hair Color Device

At-home hair coloring just got easier. With just a brush of this device over your roots, it deposits an even amount of color to your hair, regardless of type. Just pick a hair color cartridge (which is available separately here), place it inside the tool, turn it on and use it as you would a hair brush. Voilà! Gray roots are gone. Even better? It is currently 25% off on Target's website as an early Black Friday deal until Nov. 23.

Best cleanser: Olay Cleansing Melts + Vitamin C

Roughly removing makeup can cause wrinkles (all that tugging isn't good for your skin!), so it's best to invest in a cleanser that won't require a ton of scrubbing for it to work. This cleanser doesn't just cleanse away makeup and grime, it also tones and refreshes the skin, too. Better yet, it comes in a water-activated pad that dissolves within seconds, suggests the brand, so you can use it on the go or during your travels.

Best lightweight moisturizer: Charlotte Tilbury Magic Water Cream

This bestselling moisturizer is loved for its skin benefits and glow-inducing results. It has a gel-like texture that promises to brighten skin tone, refine the look of pores and provide hydration for up to 100 hours, claims the brand. Your skin will love all of these perks, but will adore the glowing results even more.

Best skin tint with SPF: Laura Geller Better Than 'Block Skincare-Infused Serum Foundation

While it might be labeled as a foundation, Laura Geller's Better Than 'Block is more like a skin tint. For instance, it is serum-based to feed the complexion with skin care ingredients, while simultaneously providing light to medium coverage that shouldn't feel or look heavy. But best of all, it is topped off with an impressive SPF 50+.

Best deodorant: AKT London The Deodorant Balm

This multi-use deodorant has a balm-y texture that blends into a dry, invisible powder under the arms, forehead, chest and other needed areas. The brand says it cleanses, deodorizes and absorbs sweat throughout the day, all without clogging pores or leaving behind stains on clothes. Plus, it's free of aluminum.

Best brush: FHI Heat Detangling Hair Brush

Brushing through tangled hair can be painful and cause breakage, especially on more mature or color-damaged hair, but this brush from FHI promises gentle detangling on both wet and dry hair. And because of its vents, the brush can also be used for styling, and even claims to reduce styling time.

Best dark spot serum: La Roche-Posay Mela B3 Serum

Dark spots, hyperpigmentation and other forms of discoloration can be a challenge to lighten and remove. While there are laser treatments and other clinical solutions, those can become costly with every visit.

As an affordable alternative, La Roche Posay's Mela B3 Serum contains a blend of melasyl, niacinamide and thermal spring water to lighten all sorts of discoloration without affecting your skin tone. You should also notice that the formula is lightweight and fast-absorbing, so it shouldn't feel heavy on.

Best mist: Say La V. Refreshing Veauty Mist

If we are going to be talking about skin and body health, we have to include feminine hygiene, too. Oprah Daily ranks the Say La V. Refreshing Veauty Mist high on their feminine care list to start, which contains bacteria-balancing prebiotics, aloe and rosewater to support your body's natural pH levels and keep it balanced. This, in return, should provide relief and hydration any time you need a dash of freshness.

While it is meant for feminine use, you can use the spray on your face and underarms, too. Plus, the mist claims to be gynecologist- and dermatologist-tested.

Best retinoid serum: Paula’s Choice Pro Retinaldehyde Dual-Retinoid Treatment

According to the brand, this recent launch is a prescription-strength treatment that clears pesky blemishes, improves texture and enhances radiance without irritation. That’s because it contains a dual retinoid (which requires “less conversion steps compared to retinol,” based on its product page), suggesting that it should be gentler on the skin.

Best treatment for crepiness: Shani Darden Skin Care Body Reform Treatment Serum

Tackle more aging concerns in one serum with the Body Reform Treatment Serum from Shani Darden. Inside is 2% granactive retinoid, hydronesis and vitamin C that combat everything from firming crepey skin to smoothing the appearance of KP (keratosis pilaris) to deliver smoother and more hydrated skin.

The formula is fragrance-free and should leave no sticky residue. And since it contains a retinoid, be sure to apply your favorite SPF after use.

Best micellar makeup remover: Sofie Pavitt Face Micellar Cleansing Pads

This serum-like color corrector comes in various shades to conceal dark circles and redness based on their undertones. For instance, the shade Dawn is a pale pink that those who prefer a brighter under eye might want to opt for. According to the brand, the product is creaseless and self-setting, so you might be able to use it alone.

Best cream blush: Haus Labs by Lady Gaga Color Fuse Glassy Blush Balm Stick

‘Glassy’ is nothing short of the truth when it comes to Haus Lab‘s Glassy Lip + Cheek Blush Balm Stick. That might be because it is 70% skin care based, which includes fermented arnica, goji berry complex and fermented shiunko that equally plump and add radiance to your complexion. While it looks gorgeous on the cheeks, it looks equally as stunning on the lips and lids, too. Plus, it doesn’t settle in fine lines or wrinkles when applied.

Sure, this Chanel eyeshadow might just contain a single shadow, but not all eyeshadows on the market are as good as this one. Chanel’s Ombre Essentielle has many positive remarks from reviewers, describing its long-lasting formula, flattering shades and the inclusion of three blending tools that make perfecting the ideal eye look easier.

The Shop TODAY team even tested the formula ourselves, with many of our writers noticing less frizz, softer strands and lasting results after use.

Best leave-in conditioner spray: Color Wow Money Mist

Here's another find that both the Oprah Daily and Shop TODAY team love. In fact, it's so good, we also placed it in our Beauty Awards earlier this year (and our own Hoda Kotb is a fan, too!).

With just a few spritzes, this nourishing leave-in conditioner promises to tackle damage, frizz, breakage and dryness by fortifying strands and promoting them back to health. To prevent future damage, the spray offers heat protection for your styling.

Best treatment for grays and blonds: Moroccanoil Treatment Purple Hair Oil

We love Moroccanoil's original argan oil treatment for its shine and hydrating benefits. In this new formulation, these perks remain the same, except with the addition of violet pigments to neutralize brassiness in blond, lightened and grey hair. According to the brand, just a few pumps should improve color vibrancy with consistent use.

Best leave-in conditioner for coils: Shea Moisture Bond Repair Leave-In Conditioner

Treat your curls or coils to this leave-in treatment from SheaMoisture. With a nourishing formula of amla oil, fair trade shea butter and the brand’s amino blend, this mask should transform brittle and/or damaged strands into a renewed state.
