Chef notes

The latte may be the most popular pumpkin-spiced drink, but these boozy shakes will give them a run for their money. These shakes are creamy, boozy and decadent in all the best ways. You get to have your pumpkin pie a la mode and after dinner drink all in one delicious sip.

Swap option: Make these kid-friendly by leaving out the pumpkin spice liqueur and vanilla vodka.

Ingredients

  • 1 gingersnap, crushed
  • 1 tablespoon caramel sauce
  • 2 scoops vanilla ice cream
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 ounces pumpkin spice liqueur
  • 1 ounce vanilla vodka
  • 2 tablespoons pumpkin puree
  • 1 pinch pumpkin pie spice
  • whipped cream

Preparation

1.

Place crushed gingersnap in a shallow dish. Coat rim of a glass in caramel sauce and dip in gingersnaps.

2.

In a blender, combine ice cream, milk, liqueur, vodka, pumpkin puree and pumpkin pie spice. Blend until smooth.

3.

Pour into prepared glass and top with a generous amount of whipped cream.
