Hero dog ‘communicated’ with trooper

An Alaska state trooper says a German shepherd named “Buddy” got his attention with a look, sort of commanding him to follow him down a dark wooded road to the scene of a house fire. TODAY’s Lester Holt speaks with the trooper and Buddy’s thankful owners via satellite from Anchorage.
