Bishop Harrison Johnson, who consoled El Paso after 2019 shooting, dies at 65

01:53

Bishop Harrison Johnson was the senior pastor at Praise Temple Full Gospel Baptist Church in El Paso, Texas, for 26 years. In the days after a shooting in the city that killed 23 people last year, he comforted the community and helped organize the funeral for one victim, where 3,000 people gathered to grieve. Bishop Johnson died last month at 65 after a long struggle with COVID-19. Sunday TODAY’s Willie Geist remembers a life well-lived.
