Spring 2024 fashion trends seen on TODAY

Paradise ready

VICI Luisa Striped Crochet Maxi Dress

Nothing is more appropriate for a tropical vacation than a colorful crochet maxi dress. This pick has a bright color block of pinks and oranges in an all-over stripped pattern.

Never Fully Dressed Brown Leopard Jaspre Skirt

In previous years, we have seen cheetah and zebra prints taking over clothing (2010s calling!!). But if you haven’t noticed already, leopard has become this season’s most wanted print. And this skirt from Never Fully Dressed just happens to be full of it, and one of the brand’s bestselling styles.

Never Fully Dressed White Miley Shirt

White button-ups were a staple all last year, and continue to be this spring. That’s because there are endless ways to wear them: Alone, worn over the shoulders, with a tee or tank underneath and much more.

Editor’s note: Although Garcia’s pick is nearly out of stock in this color (there are still others to shop!), here’s a similar option to consider.

Mango Pocket Oversize Shirt

Mango’s white button-up is nicely oversized for an option that’s a bit more casual. But if you prefer a more fitted look, you might want to size down.

Linen fabrics

Gap Mid Rise Linen-Cotton Pull-On Cargo Pants

Linen is one of the most breathable fabrics to wear during the warmer months. And when combined with cotton, just as these pull-on pants are, you have a new spring and summer staple to wear these next few months.

Gap 100% Linen Boyfriend Shirt

We are big fans of a matching set. So to go with your linen pant, or even to wear with other favorite pairs of trousers, opt for this linen button-up top.

Gap Linen-Cotton Ultra Cropped Cami

Not into a button-up? Not a problem. Instead, Gap’s cropped linen-cotton cami pairs just as well with their twin pant, or can even be layered underneath the button-up for those chilly spring days.

Colorful sneakers

New Balance 574 Sneakers

New Balance’s 574 sneakers are a true icon for the brand — and an iconic dad-shoe, as a matter of fact. They’re comfortable, colorful and more than versatile for everyone. These sneaker can even be worn outside the sidewalk since they were built with a hybrid road/trail design.

New Balance 327 Sneakers

The 327 sneaker first started out as a running shoe, and according to the brand, it helped pave how we set our standards for footwear, especially outside of performance. You’ll notice the large “N” emblem and wedge silhouette, which have become a hallmark to New Balance’s running and streetwear shoes.

Adidas Gazelle Shoes

There’s a reason Adidas’ Gazelle sneakers remain a bestseller for the brand. Although they used to be a training sneaker, the Gazelles have now become a favorite for streetwear because of their daring and neutral color schemes. You’ll either find the brand’s iconic three stripes in a classic white, or mixed with vibrant red and navy blue options — there’s a little bit of something for everyone, even a platform style.

Mesh Flats

Mango Rhinestone Ballerinas

In true ballerina form, these Mango flats are nicely curved throughout and rounded at the toe — you might just want to take a twirl in them.

Mango Mesh Ballerinas

Here’s another spring-esque pick from Mango. These flats are also mesh, but have a chic “ankle bracelet” detail that might provide additional support compared to other ballerinas.

Steve Madden Dreaming Black

Although we’ve been sticking to classic ballerina flats recently, we also have to dive into one of this year’s most popular trends: Mary Janes. Steve Madden’s version combines the mesh fabric with the style for an ultra-trendy pair.

Steve Madden VIV Natural Multi

Evidently, we are all about the rhinestones. But as an alternative to the picks above, this pair of Steve Madden Flats takes mesh to a new level with an entirely nude colorway.

Oval sunnies

Mango Rounded Sunglasses

Rounded sunnies are back in style. While minimalistic, these Mango sunglasses will pair with dress-up and dress-down styles because they’re extremely versatile. Plus, the brand adds that the sunnies have a 100% UV protection factor category 3.

H&M Oval Sunglasses

For more of a statement piece, go for an oval frame that is a bit chunky. Take this pair from H&M for instance. One of our favorite colorways is this subtle green hue, but if you prefer a neutral, the brand offers the style in a classic black and transparent light beige.

Shell jewelry

Electric Picks Sally Earrings

According to Electric Picks, all of their jewelry is nickel-free. And their gold-plated jewelry is much different than others on the market, like this beachy-themed pair, claiming that they’re plated with 4x the amount compared to most. The earrings also have a protective coating to help prevent tarnish.

Electric Picks San Tropez Hoops

Just like the pick above, these huggie hoops are meant to be worn on the coast. Except, this pair is 14kt gold filled, meaning that they have a “thicker layer of 14 karat gold permanently bonded to a base (brass),” suggests Garcia.

Kendra Scott Oleana Gold Huggie Earrings

At first glance, you might mistake the shells on Kendra Scott’s Oleana earrings as the real deal. But that’s because they are! With the 14k yellow gold over brass, this huggie sports a unique ivory spotted shell and white pearl — a perfect reminder that warm weather is near.

Kendra Scott Oleana Gold Charm Necklace

To pair with your shell earrings is this gold charm necklace. Alongside the spotted shell are gold charms, including a carved shark tooth and mini shell, for the perfect beach-themed stack.

H&M Short Trench Coat

We love a classic trench coat. But sometimes our wardrobe deserves a bit of change. Although in essence, this trench from H&M carries the same personality as its big sister. But it has a chic twist to the style we adore: Perfectly cropped and slight loose-fitting.

Melie Bianco The Brigitte Satchel by Melie Bianco: Oversized Edition

Oversized styles can also be implemented in our accessories, too. That’s where The Brigitte Satchel enters the picture. Delicately weaved and slouchy in shape, this tote is subtly chunky to store endless necessities, from your make-up bag to your notebook. It will quickly become your next go-to bag because of all of the above.

BCBGeneration Harisa Mary Jane Ballet Flats

In cased you missed it, Mary Janes are one of this season’s most popular shoe styles to have. You might see them with a platform or loafer, but the classic ballet flat, such as BCBGeneration’s Harisa flat, is one to have if you’re new to the trend because of its versatility.

Adoore Positano Dress

Adoore’s endless dress collection is all about flattering the figure. In fact, most styles are designed to be slimmer at the waist to enhance your curves. One of our favorite picks for Spring that also has this fit is their Positano dress: A maxi button-up dress with dramatic long sleeves to whisk you away to your next vacation.

Meshki Irie Embellished Knit Mini Skirt

Spring might be about pastels and soft fabrics, but it is all about the sparkle, too. Meshki combines a tactile crochet fabric with an embellished sequin knit in this a-line mini skirt so that you will always be standing out. Opt for the soft buttercream, or to dive straight into the season, a candy pink and lemon are also available in the set.

Meshki Arwen Embellished Knit Top

A sequin skirt deserves a matching sequin top. Pair the bottom with this equally embellished knit top, which has a flattering v-neckline and is slightly cropped to enhance your figure as you dance the spring and summer away.

H&M Twill Trench Coat

Because you can’t have Spring without a long-trench coat, we’ve had our eyes on this cotton-twill blend coat from H&M. Similarly to their cropped version, this style has a slightly loose fit, except longer and with more pointed collars for added sophistication.

Aritzia Babaton Synergy Bomber

Spring weather can be unpredictable. Instead of your winter coat, opt for a bomber jacket, such as this one from Aritzia. The bomber is perfectly cropped at the hip, and is made with the brand’s famous and buttery-soft vegan leather.

Asta Resort Jennifer Bustier

We picture wearing this bustier on a European beach with one of the brand’s viral sequin maxi skirts. The matching scarf (which comes with the top) adds a polished look for a night out. But without it, the top can easily be dressed down with your favorite trouser or denim.

Birkenstock Boston Braided Suede Leather

We’re all about vibrant colors in our footwear this Spring, especially this bright blue clog from Birkenstock. The Boston Clog is loved for its contoured footbed and covered upper. But this one has a twist — literally — with a braided buckle strap that you can use to tighten or loose to your comfort.

Abercrombie Curve Love Sloane Tailored Pant

While we might be used to wearing a trouser for work, they’re also incredibly versatile to wear outside of the office, especially if they’re the perfect fit. We especially love this pair from Abercrombie for this very reason. Not only is it available in a regular and Curve Love (as above), they also offer the pant in various lengths (short, regular, long) and sizes.

Meshki Kayleigh Crochet Fishtail Flare Sleeve Maxi Dress

Everything about this dress tells us that it will enhance every curve. The maxi length with the fishtail hem will surely elongate your legs, while the scoop-neck and long flared sleeves add some fun drama. Plus, the crochet knit fabric aligns with this season’s trends.

Anthropologie Molten Rectangle Post Earrings

Hoops, huggies and studs are common everyday favorites. While they are versatile, a statement piece, like these stainless steel post earrings from Anthropologie, will add some flare to your wardrobe.

Aritzia TNA Squad Pocket Parachute Pant

When you think of an oversized, comfy pant, you might think of your favorite pair of sweats. But for a style that is more streetwear approved, a parachute pants is a great alternative. Aritzia’s version is oversized with a cargo fit, and offers a surplus a room to feel comfortable (and stylish!) in all-day long.

Asta Resort Chloe Mini Skirt

The first detail you’ll notice on this skirt is none another than the side sash. It gently drapes on the side of the leg just as the gathered waistband does around the hips for a show-stopping piece. This piece comes in a set and a two other color options. But for similar attire, the brand has other vacation-ready essentials, including a new floral-themed collection that is also be a perfect touch to your Spring attire.

Zara Soft Pocketed Bomber Jacket

This bomber jacket has tons of volume: The structure is a tad oversized and the sleeves are voluminous. Those details alone makes us want to jump right into it.

Birkenstock Arizona Big Buckle Nubuck Leather

Birkenstock’s Arizona slide is surely one of their most recognizable shoes. Their comfortable footbeds are their highlight, but another is the two big buckle adjustable straps that come in either a bold gold or silver hardware, depending on the style

Aritzia The Effortless Pant Linen

Aritzia’s The Effortless Pant is one of the brand’s best-selling styles. The reason behind the love is because it is an everyday trouser that has a mix of a tailored style with a relaxed drape. But for the spring, Aritzia offers the pant in a linen fabric so you’re always breezy.

Abercrombie Strapless Asymmetrical High-Low Maxi Dress

Since Spring seems to last only for a few months, you’ll need a dress that you can transition to into the summer. Although the print alone shouts the new season, the ruffles and asymmetric skirt is what reminds us most of the trends to come.

Madewell The Perfect Vintage Military Short

With an A-line shape and a high waist, these bestselling shorts fit just like your favorite worn-in denim pair. Customers say they run a little large, so you may want to consider ordering in a size down.

Olive & June The Poppy

Bright nails are in for Spring! This tool will make applying those signature French manicure tips so much easier. The Poppy attaches to the top of the nail polish bottle to provide a comfier grip and to give you more control for steadier and more even strokes.

Ellie Vail Miley Ear Cuff

According to the brand, all of Ellie Vail's jewelry is pretty low maintenance. Plus, since it's hypoallergenic, you won't have to worry about your skin getting irritated on nights when you forget to take the cuff off. "[I] wear it while on runs some days or even when I go out with my friends and have it on for hours at a time and have had no problems," wrote one reviewer.
