“The blades also have a safety guard, so it feels less intimidating than some of the professional tools you see online,” Joy says. “I started doing it before applying my skincare and makeup, and it makes everything go on so much smoother.”
If you want those effortless, low-maintainence beach waves for spring, look no further than Joy’s favorite spray from Ouai. The spray has rice protein in it, which Joy explains adds hold and enhances your waves, giving you soft texture without making your hair crunchy or sticky.
