The Iowa State Medical Examiner has released new information about the murder of college student Mollie Tibbetts. Preliminary autopsy results showed “multiple sharp force injuries” as the cause of her death. Cristhian Bahena Rivera, 24, has been charged with first-degree murder. Authorities say he’s an undocumented immigrant from Mexico. Meanwhile, members of Tibbetts’ family say they don’t want her death to be used as political leverage.
