Coronavirus reinfection ‘not a cause for alarm,’ doctor says
In the wake of a report that a man in Hong Kong has been infected with a second strain of coronavirus after already having the virus, Dr. Ashish Jha, director of the Harvard Global Institute, tells TODAY that “the good news here is that it looks like it happens pretty frequently.” He adds: “My hope is that with a vaccine we’ll be able to get even more durable immunity.”
