There are a lot of beauty brands that claim to be one of the OGs in the industry, a pioneer in the space, if you will. And for Laura Geller Beauty, a eponymous beauty brand, this claim is true.

Laura Geller Beauty first debuted in 1997 on QVC after Geller herself was actively working as a makeup artist on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. During the appearance, she showcased the first-ever highlighter and contour kit, which ended up selling out within minutes on the shopping network, per the brand. Two decades later, Geller launched the Spackle Skin Perfecting Primer, a continuous bestseller for the brand that has been touted as one of the very first makeup primers.

Now being in the industry for nearly three decades, the brand still has a place across many beauty retailers, often being in the bestsellers section on Amazon, for instance. While their range of products has significantly grown since the '90s, we've narrowed down the tried-and-true Laura Geller products to the ones we deem our favorites.

Is Laura Geller Beauty good for mature skin?

Laura Geller Beauty is a beauty brand specifically catered to mature skin. In fact, their personal mission statement, “Makeup for Mature Skin,” confirms it. Their entire line of products is specifically catered to women over the age of 40. And, if you look closely at their product pages, you’ll notice all of the models are within that age group, too.

From foundation to blush, each product is recommended for this skin type, including their bestselling and dermatologist-approved Baked Balance-n-Brighten Foundation, which also has the National Psoriasis Foundation (NPF) and National Rosacea Society (NRS) stamps of approval, per the brand.

Best for on-the-go touch-ups:

Laura Geller Beauty Baked to Go Balance-n-Glow Illuminating Foundation

On the day-to-day, we don't always have the space to bring our makeup bag in our totes. But this compact foundation was built for on-the-go, and includes a small powder puff to make any necessary touch-ups.

"I like using this little compact to touch up my makeup and any shine that accumulated throughout the day," says associate editor Shannon Garlin. "The formula is super lightweight, doesn't settle into fine lines and gives a nice semi-matte finish." For more shades, you can purchase the full-sized version here.

An every day lip:

Laura Geller Beauty Jelly Balm Hydrating Lip Color

Shop TODAY freelance writer Tomeka Jones said in her review that the Jelly Balm "made my lips shiny" and hydrated with just a few swipes. "It’s likely the glossiness comes from the key ingredients in the balms, vitamin E and squalane, which experts say are also moisturizing agents," she added.

Best for natural-looking makeup:

Laura Geller Beauty Serum Blush Cheek Tint

"This is hands down my favorite blush," boasts senior social media editor Kate McCarthy. "The color is easily buildable, so you can apply just a dab, or add on more throughout your routine to get a brighter pop. I love it because it can give me a nice subtle hint of color, and it applies easily and blends into my skin quite nicely."

Recommended by Geller herself:

Laura Geller Beauty Baked Balance-n-Brighten Foundation

When we spoke with Geller in early Sept 2025, she said the one product she suggests everyone to try from her line is the Baked Balance-n-Brighten Foundation.

"Foundation will even your canvas out, could make you look smooth, can cover what ails you," she previously said. "We have different foundations. Balance-n-Brighten is our hero product; it’s baked in Italy and that is the easiest one to use. It’s great for mature skin."

For one-and-done makeup looks:

Laura Geller Beauty The Best of the Best Baked Palette

You don't always need multiple makeup products to create a full look, and this palette is proof of that.

"In an absolute rarity, I’ve used every single item provided in this makeup palette — and it’s all looked incredible on me," raves deputy managing editor Jess Bender. "From two highlighters (one subtle and one super glowy), the perfect pink blush, three eye shadows for every kind of day-to-night look to a bronzer that gives a subtle kiss from the sun, it’s as if this makeup palette was specifically curated for me."

For better brows:

If brows are your biggest concern (after all, they get more sparse as we get older!), then this brow pencil and gel is perfect for you. "It gives my brows the perfect amount of shading without making them look fake or overfilled," says commerce editor and producer, Julie Ricevuto. "Plus, since it's a gel and a pencil in one, it cuts down on the amount of brow products I need to buy."
