Easy Whipped Cream

Mound this fast 3-ingredient whipped cream on top of cakes, pies, berries — really any dessert you can think of! Don't forget the drinks too — I love it dolloped in my coffee and piled on top of hot chocolate. Prep tip: Make sure the bowl you use is chilled before pouring in the cream, and use an electric hand mixer to save time.


  • 1 cup chilled heavy whipping cream
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract


In a chilled bowl, using a electric hand mixer or whisk, beat the heavy whipping cream to stiff peaks. Sprinkle the sugar and vanilla extract into the cream and beat until stiff peaks return.
