This is a great project to work on with kids. Prep all of the cookies before hand and then let their creativity run wild!
Technique tip: Make sure icing is completely dry before decorating.
Swap option: You can also use fondant-covered cookies.
Ingredients
- Sugar cookies, store-bought or homemade
- Royal icing, store-bought or homemade
- Edible markers
Preparation
1.Ice each cookie with the royal icing.
2.Allow the icing to dry, at room temperature, for 1½ hours or until completely set to the touch.
3.Use edible markers to doodle desired designs onto each cookie.
