While September signals the end of summer, there's much to look forward to in the fall — and we're not just talking about the weather.
Ahead of autumn, we're eyeing a few trending products and launches to enter into the new season. To highlight the latest and greatest, Shop TODAY senior editor Julie Ricevuto stopped by Studio 1A to share some must-have fall essentials, including “transformational” beauty favorites and autumnal accessories that will surely have you ready for when the leaves start changing.

Finding a good pair of leggings (at an affordable price) can be hard, but Ricevuto says this Amazon find lives up to it’s 21,000 ratings. “They’re high-waisted, sculpting and they’re not see-through at all,” she notes. “They feel like a second skin while still having supportive compression, which I love.”
The fall weather means less sweat, so chances are you’re probably less inclined to wash certain items after every wear. To help your clothes stay fresh and odorless, this product is basically a “dry shampoo” for your clothes, which Ricevuto says will save you time and money.
“Pro Tip: A lot of reviewers said they loved this for traveling when they couldn’t necessarily wash clothes but wanted a little refresh mid-trip,” notes Ricevuto.
You’ll want to add this new Target launch to your fall accessories haul. This sleek bag can convert into a crossbody and comes in a nylon or faux-leather finish — it looks way more expensive than its $20 price tag. Ricevuto also points out the turnkey closure and zipper for added security.
Loop Earplugs is a Shop TODAY tried-and-true and award-winning brand, and they just launched their first-ever sleep mask. According to the brand, the mask provides complete darkness and will help you fall and stay asleep.
“Most sleep masks are uncomfortable. There are always gaps around the nose, too much pressure on the eyes, or even just slipping off the face while you sleep,” says Ricevuto. “Not this one. This is so comfortable while still having anti-slip grip.”
The Inkey List, which is a Shop TODAY Beauty Awards-winning brand, just launched this innovative and gua sha-inspired neck stick. According to the brand, it’s packed with ceramides to help lift the skin while targeting fine lines and crepey skin. Along with your neck, the brand recommends using it on your jawline and décolletage, too.
Summer can be brutal on your feet. To help get them back into shape, Ricevuto loves these new launches from Onyx Professional. “These are two foot care products that work instantly to give you softer feet,” says Ricevuto. “First, we have this foot mask that uses an exfoliating gel combined with a rubber scrubber to lift away dead skin cells and dry skin.”
She explains to follow up with the balm to help keep the heels hydrated. Ricevuto even had her mom try this system out, and she said her heels “were transformed after one use.”

If your lips tend to feel drier during the cooler months, this new launch from Violette_FR provides hydration while adding a buildable pop of color. According to the brand, the balm-like lipstick is formulated with vitamin E and has a sheer finish.
If you frequently experience leg swelling from travel, standing on your feet all day, or as a symptom of varicose veins, compression socks are a must-have. But with so many on the market, how do you know which one is ideal? According to Dr. Justin Ha, a board-certified physician at MetroVein Centers in NYC, the most important factors are a 20-30mmHg compression and proper fit.
“A graduated compression sock should provide the most pressure around the ankle and gradually become less compressive as it moves up the leg, adding a gentle 20-30mmHg of extra compression to help encourage blood to flow upward rather than pool in the lower legs due to the effects of gravity,” he explains. This option from Fitrell fits the bill and costs less than $20 for three pairs.
This Amazon piece has the comfort of a cardigan and the look of a coat for the ultimate transitional piece into fall and winter. “It’s made with a soft, but not flimsy, fabric that sits nicely,” adds Ricevuto. “I love this for pairing with jeans and a tee or throwing over a dress. It adds just the right amount of warmth, and instantly pulls any outfit together.”

Morning puffiness? Ricevuto recommends using this de-puffing roll-on serum from board-certified dermatologist Dr. Shereene Idriss’ brand.
With high-performing actives like arnica and niacinamide, the serum has been clinically proven to reduce any signs of redness and under-eye puffiness, per the brand. The metal roller is also effective at applying the formula and promoting lymphatic drainage while you use.
"I recently discovered Besto Pesto, which is a nut- and seed oil-free pesto that’s made with all-natural ingredients," raved Ricevuto. "I was skeptical at first because I love traditional pesto, but this option, which is lower in calories and allergy-friendly, tasted delicious! I’m officially a convert to the brand."
There’s been an increase in interest in layerable jewelry and Ricevuto doesn’t see the trend going anywhere this fall.

Ricevuto is a fan of this plumping lip treatment from Tula, which comes in two pigmented and one semi-sheer shades. "It's super shiny, contains peptides and is proven to hydrate lips for 24 hours," the editor says.
"My husband gets plantar fasciitis, and this has been a huge help," Ricevuto boasts. "The roller relieves tension and tightness in feet, legs and hands — just roll along sore muscles."
With a gel-like consistency, this hydrating cream uses a combination of PDRN, collagen and peptides to restore skin elasticity, strengthen the moisture barrier and replenish moisture. "It leaves my skin feeling plump and looking so glowy after use," says Ricevuto.
