“I’m a mom who never gets enough sleep, and applying this in the morning is such a lovely ritual that’s also super fast and easy,” says Shop TODAY freelancer Dory Zayas about Grace & Stella’s under-eye serum roller.
She keeps it in her fridge for an extra cooling effect that helps wake up her tired eyes and refresh her under-eyes. The formula contains ceramides, hyaluronic acid and caffeine to hydrate and plump the area, and Zayas says it didn’t sting or burn her sensitive skin.
“I love this product for a nice pick-me-up in the morning,” Zayas notes.
First-time retinol users may appreciate a formula that makes it easy to control how much product they apply. Senior producer Mirjam Lablans calls The Inkey List’s Starter Dual Retinol Serum “an excellent beginner retinol,” noting that its pump dispenses a small, measured amount. After gradually increasing how often she used it, she found that her skin felt smoother and that her forehead looked more even. CeraVe has earned a place in many skin care routines, and its Skin Renewing Night Face cream is designed to help restore the skin’s moisture barrier while you sleep.
Dr. Robert Anolik, fellow of The American Academy of Dermatology, previously told us, “It includes ceramides for skin barrier health, allantoin (which has anti-irritant properties) and niacinamide to reduce redness and inflammation.”
Because of this, he added that the product is a great relief for those using acne treatments that cause irritation.

Deputy managing editor Jess Bender put this serum to the test on dark spots she noticed behind her boyfriend’s ears.
“Over the span of about a month and a half, the bigger patches of pigmentation I originally caught reduced by about half, with some of the smaller spots even disappearing over that time frame,” Bender says. “We also noticed that the product absorbed quickly and without irritation.”

This Goodal serum has earned a spot in tester Jen Enriquez’s routine thanks to its lightweight feel and makeup-friendly finish. She summarizes that it has a smooth application, feels great on her skin and provides hydration that isn’t heavy or greasy.

Shop TODAY freelancer Andrea Smith has been using Dr. Dennis Gross’ eye cream for more than three months and it’s become a mainstay in her makeup routine.

Marini SkinSolutions’ Night Zyme is an overnight face mask designed to be the final step in your evening skin care routine. Christina Murphy, mother of commerce writer Danielle Murphy, says she liked how the product helped seal in her other skin care products without feeling heavy. After a week of use, she also noticed that her pores appeared tighter.

When it comes to tackling dry, cracked feet, Bender says this Dr. Scholl’s foot mask stands out amongst competitors.
“I’ve found Dr. Scholl’s to be one of the best with bringing my tootsies back to baby-soft softness,” she applauds, praising its nourishing formula with ingredients like urea, shea butter and oils that help soften rough skin.
Dry, cracked heels can be stubborn, but Jody Ricevuto was surprised by how quickly this cracked heel treatment made a difference.
“My cracked heels looked so much smoother and felt deeply hydrated directly after I put this on,” she comments.
If you love a body wash that smells as good as it feels, this body wash by Raw Sugar is worth a spot in your shower. Zayas says she loved its fruity scent — which smells fresh without being overly sweet or artificial — along with its rich, satisfying lather. “This cream is definitely on the thicker side, but it leaves my skin extremely moisturized without feeling oily or being hard to rub in,” says Ricevuto about this Weleda body cream.

For fluttery, lengthened lashes, this tubing mascara by Covergirl delivers a look that Bender loves.
“This is an easy product to use and build upon if you want a more dramatic, lengthier finish,” she shares.
The buildable formula lets you customize your lashes with a few extra swipes, whether you prefer a subtle lift or a more defined look. (Bender’s go-to application is two to three coats on the top lashes and one on the bottom.)
