What has Travis Kelce said about Taylor Swift on his podcast?

What started all of this stir is Travis Kelce saying on a July 26 episode of his podcast that he tried to give Swift a friendship bracelet with his phone number on it when he attended her "Eras" concert in Kansas City.

“I was disappointed that she doesn’t talk before or after her shows because she has to save her voice for the 44 songs that she sings. So I was a little butthurt I didn’t get to hand her one of the bracelets I made for her,” he said.

“You made her a bracelet?” Jason Kelce asked.

“Yeah. If you’re up on Taylor Swift concerts, there are friendship bracelets and I received a bunch of them being there, but I wanted to give Taylor Swift one with my number on it,” Travis Kelce said, alluding to the bracelets that have become a staple at Swift’s shows.

When asked if the bracelet had his jersey number or telephone number on it, Travis Kelce joked, “You know which one.”

“She doesn’t meet anybody or at least she didn’t want to meet me, so I took it personal,” he continued.

On Sept. 27, Travis Kelce told his brother on their podcast what he thought of Swift attending his game against the Chicago Bears. As of Oct. 23, she has attended four of his games.

“People were screaming, people were chest-bumping, people were high-fiving, banging on the glass, just doing everything,” he said.

“Shout out to Taylor for pulling up, that was pretty ballsy,” he added. “I just thought it was awesome how everybody in the suite had nothing but great things to say about her. You know, the friends and family. She looked amazing. Everybody was talking about her in a great light and on top of that, the day went perfect for Chiefs fans, of course.”

A week later, on Oct. 4, Travis Kelce commented on the NFL's coverage of Swift and celebrities in general: "It brings a little bit more to the atmosphere, brings a little bit more to what you’re watching.”

But he added that, "They’re overdoing it a little bit, especially with my situation.”

“I think they’re just trying to have fun with it,” Kelce added.

Travis Kelce then touched on him and Swift making appearances on "Saturday Night Live" on the Oct. 18 episode, saying in part, “I’ll tell you what, man, it was electric to be back in that place ... There’s just something about being in that room, and just it being their first episode this season — I had such a freaking blast, man.”
