Who took home a Moon Person statuette at the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards? What tune was deemed the song of the summer? Who is officially the best new artist for a year?
We're going into the 2023 VMAs with questions about winners — and will get answers on Sept. 12, amid performances from some of the biggest names in music like Olivia Rodrigo and Renée Rapp, and memorable red carpet looks. For the second year, Nicki Minaj will emcee.
The nominations lineup also made history: For the first time, the VMAs featured an all-female lineup in the category of artist of the year. The six nominated artists are Taylor Swift, Beyoncé, Doja Cat, Nicki Minaj, Karol G and Shakira.
