Mayors boycott St. Patrick’s Day parades

New York City’s mayor Bill de Blasio isn’t marching in Monday’s parade because it doesn’t allow gay and lesbian groups to openly take part. Boston’s mayor stayed away from Sunday’s parade for the same reason.
