See Robert De Niro’s failed ‘Godfather’ audition

Previously unreleased video of Robert De Niro unsuccessfully auditioning for the role of Sonny in “The Godfather” has quickly gone viral. Though the part of Sonny went to James Caan, De Niro later won his first Oscar as young Vito Corleone in the sequel, “The Godfather Part II.”
