Rep. Duncan Hunter pleads not guilty to misuse of campaign funds
Republican Congressman Duncan Hunter and his wife, Margaret, pleaded not guilty Thursday to allegations of illegally using campaign funds for personal expenses. They’re accused of using more than $250,000 to finance family vacations, golfing outings, school tuition and theater tickets. Hunter seemed to point the finger at his wife, saying she was handling his money. TODAY’s Savannah Guthrie reports.
