This year, the Walmart Deals event is six days long, beginning on Tuesday, July 8 and running through Sunday, July 13. For those who prefer to shop from home, online sales will drop at at 12 a.m. ET, while in-store deal hunting will start when your local Walmart opens on July 8.
Eager to save? Shoppers with a Walmart Plus membership will get exclusive early access to all of the deals, beginning Monday, July 7 at 7 p.m. ET, a night before the event opens to the public. Walmart Plus is a great option for those who are eyeing popular items that may be more likely to sell out.
Walmart Plus is the retailer’s paid loyalty program, which allows members to gain access to money and time-saving benefits. The program can save customers hundreds of dollars a year, according to the retailer.
Upon signing up, Walmart Plus members can choose to pay $12.95 monthly or $98 annually. If you qualify for government assistance, you can get 50% off an annual membership through Walmart+ Assist.
