I’m always on the hunt for comfy and casual pants that I can wear while traveling, dropping my daughter off at school, or attending a casual lunch date — and these pants from Ododos totally fit the bill! The thick, sweatpants-style waistband is very comfortable and stretchy, and the design of the pants lends itself to being dressed up or down.

Why I like these joggers

These joggers are really soft, stretchy, and breathable. I first paired them with a cropped sweater, sneakers, and BEIS Sport Pack crossbody, which made for the perfect outfit for running quick errands. I love that while the pants aren’t too tight, they are still form-fitting enough to be flattering.

I also put them to the test while traveling, and felt totally cute and comfy while in the airport and on the plane wearing them with sneakers and a T-shirt. I had no issues with swelling or re-positioning myself, which can sometimes be a problem on longer flights if you’re wearing tight jeans or stiff leggings.

While they're perfect for casual outings, you can also dress them up! Just add jewelry and heels and use a longer top to hide the sporty waistband. I tried to strike a balance by pairing them with a tight tee (or bodysuit would be great, too) and trendy flats for an outfit ideal for brunch. Regardless of how they're styled, I love the look they provide.

The pants are machine washable and made of 94% cotton and 6% spandex. The material is thick and warm, but not too hot that I couldn’t wear them in the summer. They are breathable and comfortable, and I loved wearing them both outside while running errands and inside while lounging on my couch. I can even see myself wearing them in a workout class or while ice skating. I think they are the perfect alternative to leggings — they aren’t as tight or restricting, but offer the comfort and convenience of a throw-on-and-go pant. I also love the mid-waist style — it’s not too high and not too low. Like Goldilocks said, it’s just right!

What to consider

The joggers are available in five colors — olive, navy, black, taupe, and mauve. Although the size chart says the pants come in sizes XS to 3X, only sizes small through extra large are currently available for purchase. I got the XL, but I think I could also wear the large. I washed and dried them at home, and didn’t experience any shrinking.

The 27” inseam is the exact same for every size, which might be too short or too long, depending on your height, but the cuffed, jogger style allowed me to show off my shoes, even though it was maybe just an inch or two too long on my petite 5’2” frame.

I love that the two waist pockets were quite roomy, and the two side cargo pockets can be utilized as well, perfectly fitting a phone or a small notebook if you’re headed to the park to journal or draw.

For under $35, these pants feel like they will be a staple in my wardrobe all year round, and I’m looking forward to buying them in other colors.
