Like July Prime Day, Amazon's fall sale event offers major discounts across multiple popular categories, from home to beauty. Here are the deals we're loving so far.

Can I share my Prime membership?
Amazon recently announced that it will be making changes to the Prime Invitee Program. It'll be replaced with Amazon Family, thereby making it harder to share your membership with family members who do not live in the same household. As of Oct. 1, Amazon Prime users will no longer be able to share their account with members of their family unless they are confirmed members through Amazon Family and are confirmed to share the same primary address.
Any family members who want to utilize the benefits of an Amazon Prime membership but do not live at the same address will need to create their own Prime account starting next month.
Previously, Amazon allowed Prime account holders to share the benefits of free two-day shipping to more than one address, which will no longer be available. Instead, those outside the home will need to sign up for a membership of their own.
What is Amazon Family?
Amazon Family is the newest sharing option for Prime users, which allows members to add one other adult, up to four teens who were added before April 7, 2025, and up to four profiles for children.
The additional adult in the family will also be required to add their payment method, and the primary account holder will be notified if any payment methods change for security purposes.
Some of the benefits of Amazon Family include:
- Fast and free delivery on Prime-eligible items
- Access to exclusive Prime events and deals
- Prime Video (with ads)
- Prime Reading
- Digital content such as audiobooks, eBooks, games, and more
Frequently asked questions

During Prime Big Deal Days last year, the Amazon sales event saw similar discounts as July Prime Day, with deals across luxury beauty, popular tech (Kindles, Apple AirPods) and more. So far, we're seeing major deals on over 350,000 products across the retailer.
The history of Prime Day goes back to July 2015. That year marked Amazon's 20th birthday. In celebration of the retailer's anniversary, Prime Day was born to honor Prime members, per Amazon.
When the global shopping event first launched, it was held over 24-hours. Traditionally, Prime Day has evolved to a two-day sale, but July 2025 marked the first time Amazon hosted the event over four days.
