Move over, tenniscore, a new athleisure trend has taken over — soccercore! Any soccer fan knows how major this summer is for the sport with the global tournament officially kicking off on June 11. There will be over 100 games all across the U.S., Canada and Mexico for over a month. Searches for soccer gear have been skyrocketing in the meantime, with multiple breakout searches on ‘soccer jerseys’ hitting new heights over the past three months.
While I [Shigo] have been sporting jerseys for years, this spring and summer, many brands have been releasing unique takes on classic jerseys for the big game, as well as new gear for fans to sport. Read below to see some of our editors’ favorite jerseys and exciting new launches around the sporting event.

Shop TODAY editor Vivien Moon recently picked up this graphic tee and says, “I have this and love the quality! There is a great variety of picks to choose from, depending on the team you support.”
Editorial operations manager Jillian Ortiz customized this jersey in her favorite colors and styles. She says, “I have this one — it is so breathable and fun to wear with pants or shorts!”

If you like a faded-looking tee, try this one from Abercrombie. Writer Emma Stessman says, “I love Abercrombie’s graphic tees so much and I’m obsessed with their new soccer collection. The U.S. shirt I wanted is pretty much sold out, because it’s so popular, but the England and Canada ones are pretty too.”
I love these shorts for the Jamaica team; they are so colorful and are a great length. I have been wearing them around the house and to the gym for my workouts.
I recently got this jersey from a new Umbro launch that was inspired by throwback jerseys. It is made with a nice waffle-knit material and is oversized, so I like to wear mine with a skirt or dress.

For those who don’t love the look of a jersey, this one is anything but your typical tee. Production associate, Audrey Ekman says, “With all of the major games and events happening near New York City this summer, I’ve been convinced to dip my toe into the waters of sporty style. Nuuly has a ton of fun options to show your team spirit this season — or just be a bandwagon fan. I like that I can try out some of the trends and grab gear to support my team of choice without committing to owning the piece forever. But, if you love it, you can buy it and have it for many seasons to come. I particularly love this fashion-forward take on a USA jersey; it’s totally going in my next Nuuly order!”
Writer Jannely Espinal loves this replica jersey because it is made with a moisture-wicking material. She says, “I appreciate that the jerseys are made with a technical dryCELL fabric that helps wick moisture away. It fits perfectly and is so breathable.”

If you want to dress just like the players, this Nike jersey is one to get. Stessman says, “I don’t have this specific one, but I recently got a Nike soccer jersey, and I love how lightweight and breathable it is. I wasn’t fully convinced it was my style, but I wore it with shorts recently and got a lot of compliments!! They just dropped a huge collection with so many different teams, so you can rep your faves.”
Adidas has been dropping a bunch of throwback jerseys and gear that are inspired by iconic jerseys of the team’s past. I love this Mexico one and have been wearing it a lot this spring and will be into the summer. It looks great with a pair of white pants or shorts.

I recently got this ball because I have been itching to get back to my old soccer days. I had it shipped to the office and have already been kicking it around our desks. I even made plans to play in the park! It comes in a few sizes and I opted for the smallest size, so it is easier to store.
If you are a Brazil fan, you have to pair your favorite jersey with these Havaianas. They are such a classic shoe, and I have been wearing mine so much recently.
Now you can coordinate your whole outfit together with these sneakers that can match a red jersey. Ortiz says, “Sambas are also so trendy and the shoe everyone wears with jerseys!”
Editor Kamari Stewart-Jackson is a big Lego fan and loves this soccer ball. She says, “My husband and I love using Legos as decor in our home because it’s a fun way for us to have a craft to do together that doesn’t just take up space. We love their sporty pieces, including this soccer ball that’s the perfect activity to keep your hands busy while you’re watching all the games.”

This classic tee is such a great basic to wear during the big games and year-round. It also makes for a wonderful Father’s Day gift for Dad if they are a fan of Team USA.
One trend I have been seeing so much is brands redesigning jerseys to look more cinched and fun. I like this ruched one that creates a peplum look. It is a great option for those who like to be a little more dressed up.
One player who is always recognizable is Ronaldo Nazário. This jersey pays homage to his roots with a young photo of him early on in his career on the Brazil team. It makes for a great gift for the soccer historian in your life.
This Spain jersey is great for those who are fans of the team. It has the classic team logo and the Adidas logo paired together. Reviewers mention how it has a great fit, and it is well-made. Not only is it comfortable, it also comes in a range of sizes.
This Aritzia jersey showcases the iconic Aritzia ladybug on their crest. It would be such a cute look with a white skirt or pants. The cropped silhouette also makes it great for summer when wearing high-waisted shorts or pants.
One of my favorite recent soccer jersey launches has been with Old Navy. They have released a bunch of retro-looking jerseys that are great to sport during the games. They come in a bunch of other teams’ colors too.
This Pleasures jersey is getting added to my must-have list for the competition. I love the detail of the Statue of Liberty and all the team’s flags. It is such a fun statement jersey and really captures the spirit of the summer of soccer!
If you plan on exercising in your jersey or wearing it in your own soccer match, you’ll want something that can handle a little sweat. This Nike jersey is made with Dri-FIT, so it will help wick your sweat away.

I love to collect unique magnets and decorate my fridge with them. This mini trophy magnet looks just like the real thing! It can hold everything from your grocery list to your kids’ artwork on the fridge.
If your kids are going to camp this summer, they will need a handy bag to keep all their essentials in. This drawstring bag is easy to open and close, and easy to clean! I used to run around soccer camp with a similar bag when I was a kid.
Fazit is one of our favorite brands for festival season because they create unique and real-looking freckles, but with a little extra flair of some sparkles. This pack is inspired by soccer and Team USA and would pair great with a jersey.
Stay hydrated while watching the games with this soccer-inspired bottle from editor-loved brand Owala. It has the classic stripes and swooshes of a ball and is able to keep your water cold all day.
