Sweet Potato Fries with Toasted Marshmallow Dip

Perfect for an appetizer, snack, side dish or even dessert, the savory-sweet combination of crispy sweet potato fries dipped in gooey melted toasted marshmallows is outstanding.


For the Sweet Potato Fries
  • 4 sweet potatoes, peeled and cut into sticks
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Sea salt
For the Toasted Marshmallow Dip
  • 25 large marshmallows
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/8 teaspoon cinnamon



Preheat oven to 450F. Place potatoes on a parchment lined baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil to coat. Sprinkle salt on top and bake for 30 to 40 minutes until tender, flipping potatoes over half way through. Let cool. 


Set oven to broil. Place marshmallows on baking sheet lined with parchment paper and toast. Keep an eye on marshmallows as they will toast and puff up very quickly; about 2 minutes.


Into a blender, add heavy cream, toasted marshmallows and spices. Whip until smooth. To enjoy, pour dip in a serving bowl and serve with fries immediately.
