Hot berries and wine sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 cup strawberries, chopped
  • 1 cup blueberries
  • 1 cup rasberries
  • 3 cup whole cloves
  • 3 cup tbs. sugar
  • 1/3 cup water

Preparation

Baking Directions:

In a saucepan on medium-low heat, warm the berries, sugar, cloves and water.

Stir until sugar is dissolved.

(approximately 4-5 mins).

Now add port wine and continue stirring for 1 to 2 minutes.

3.

Reduce heat to a simmer or very low and keep warm until ready to serve over ice cream or cake.
