Bistecca alla Peroni

Ingredients

  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 cup rib eye steak
  • 1/2 cup chopped red and green cherry peppers
  • 3 ounce gorgonzola cheese
  • 1 ounce bottle of peroni beer

Preparation

Baking Directions:

In a saute pan, brown garlic in olive oil on a low-medium heat.

Dredge the steak in flour on both sides and sear in a saute pan on each side for two minutes.

After steak is seared, add the chopped cherry peppers, the gorgonzola and Peroni beer.

Cook for four minutes or until the desired temperature, either rare, medium-rare or well-done.
