The pilots of an Air Berlin flight who performed a risky fly-past during the airline’s last long-haul flight to its hub in Duesseldorf have been suspended, according to officials. The Federal Aviation Office is investigating the go-around maneuver as the pilots claim it was their way of saying goodbye to passengers and the bankrupt airline.
