FDNY firefighter joins family of fallen Marine to honor those who serve
Lt. Tim Sullivan, an FDNY firefighter who rushed to the scene during the 9/11 attacks, met Travis Manion, a young Marine, when Manion visited the firehouse where Sullivan was stationed in 2006. Manion was killed a year later while serving in Iraq. Sullivan eventually connected with Manion’s family, who started the Travis Manion Foundation to empower veterans and families of fallen soldiers. The foundation’s marquee event, the 9/11 Heroes run, honors 9/11’s first responders. Sullivan and Manion’s sister, Ryan, join Megyn Kelly TODAY to share their stories.
