With the new year upon us, we’re hitting reset on pretty much everything — our homes, our wardrobes and even (or, especially) our daily routines. And right on cue, Target is simplifying things with Wellness Week: a seven-day event featuring markdowns on fitness, fashion and even select grocery items.
To help us choose the best new year picks, Shop TODAY contributor Melissa Garcia came by Studio 1A to share her favorite finds. Kicking things off with style, Garcia’s eyeing a two-piece loungewear set that will keep you comfortable all season long while still looking pulled together. And for home, she has her eye on a humidifier that doubles as an aromatherapy diffuser (and can be controlled straight from your phone).
In the beauty department, Garcia’s sharing the multi-purpose hydration product she keeps on her nightstand, as well as a gel taming wand for your hair, designed to keep frizz and baby curls at bay. And for packing healthier work day meals, Garcia found insulated lunch sets in sweet, feminine prints. Last but not least, she also shares the kitchen tool you didn’t know you needed.
Each pick will get your year started on the right foot, without breaking the budget. Shop Garcia’s recommendations below — or add them all to your cart with one click!

As Garcia explains, “this is one of those ‘Why didn’t I have this sooner?’ kitchen tools.” This set comes with a three-quart stainless steel bowl, a lid and three grater inserts. To use it, just clip the grater attachment you want to use into the lid and grate directly into the bowl! The bowl also has a non-slip base, which keeps it steady while you’re mixing or grating. It’s perfect for grating everything from carrots and potatoes to cheese, slicing cucumbers and beyond.
As Garcia notes, winter air is drying for your skin, sinuses, throat — all of it. That said, this humidifier (which doubles as an aromatherapy diffuser when you add essential oils to the base of the chamber) is a wellness upgrade at home. You can control everything straight from the app: Set your humidity level, adjust settings and even schedule it to turn on before you get home. With a top-fill design, it’s easy to clean and you don’t have to stress about spills. Plus, there’s a quiet mode for nighttime, so it won’t disturb your sleep. Garcia loves that it has a soft glow, too, so you can use it as a nightlight.
For those days when you want to be comfortable but still look pulled together, Garcia suggests this loungewear top (and the matching bottoms below). According to her, it's a set you'll reach to when working from home, running errands, travelling or even stepping out for lunch with a friend. It feels intentional without any extra effort and the modal fabric is incredibly soft, stretchy and flattering, per Garcia.

With no zippers, buttons or snaps, these modal pants are truly slip on and go. The wide leg is both flattering and comfortable, and while you can pair them with the matching top, you can also style them on their own. The come in grey and mint, too.
A true multitasker, this ointment works on lips, hands, elbows, cuticles, even heels! According to the brand, it provides deep hydration without feeling greasy or sticky. And since it's fragrance-free and hypoallergenic, it’s great for sensitive skin and children. Garcia keeps hers on my night table and slathers it on before bed. According to her, you wake up with skin that feels soft and hydrated. Pro tip: You can also mix a little into your daily moisturizer, especially during the dry winter months, for an extra hydration boost.
This year, save time on your hair by getting in on the “slick back” trend — whether that’s with a bun, pony tail or even a half-up look. This styling comb makes it easy, just use the small gel-coated wand (much like a mascara wand) to brush back any frizz or baby curls. And since it’s so tiny, you can take it on the go.

Planning to pack your lunch more often this year to save money and eating healthier? Consider this cute, stylish lunch bag — especially at just $20! Garcia notes that this one's not too flimsy yet not too bulky, and the shape makes it easy to carry. It's also insulated and comes with two containers and an ice pack, so you’re set right out of the box!
Looking for a little extra storage or a longer strap? Go for this grey pick, which also includes a couple of containers and has tons of smaller pockets that are perfect for napkins, utensils and other little extras, too.
For those who favor blush pink, opt for this insulated lunch bag. It comes with four small containers and boasts a water bottle pocket, ensuring that it's easy to stay hydrated on the go. It has a PEVA lining and is easy to spot wipe, and the included containers can be washed on the top rack of your dishwasher, per the brand.

More routine reset picks
If you're on social media, you’ve likely seen weighted vests all over your feed — they're everywhere right now! Garcia is an avid weighted vest user and notes that they make it easy to amplify your daily walk or the exercise you already do, without taking any extra time from your day. Just putting it on adds gentle resistance, so you’re working a little harder without realizing it.
Air fryers are known for allowing you to use less oil in your cooking. This Cuisinart option is a Shop TODAY-reader favorite and allows you to air fry, convection bake, broil, toast, warm and more, per the brand.
Acupressure mats have become popular for those with tension in their back and neck, as the soft spikes are designed to stimulate pressure points and provide pain relief, per the brand. This one has a foldable design, making it portable. Right now, it’s 30% off!
At 30% off, now's the time to get your hands on this of-the-moment funnel neck sweatshirt.
Interested in jumping on the walking pad bandwagon? This is a great under-desk option and currently 40% off!
Chances are, you're familiar with the protein boom. With this Khloe Kardashian-backed popcorn, Khloud — which comes in sea salt, kettle corn and white cheddar flavors — you can enjoy three cups of popcorn while simultaneously getting seven grams of protein, according to the brand. And during Wellness Week, you can buy select wellness-focused grocery items and get a second 50% off.
Perfect for baking, spreading and even scraping the bottom of a jar, these mini silicone spatulas are workhorses — and just $5 for a set of three!
If you're trying to incorporate at-home workouts into your 2026 routine, you may want to add resistance bands to your fitness collection. Use them during squats, donkey kicks and more for added resistance in your strength training. This set of three is less than $10 and includes light, medium and heavy bands.
Save time getting ready in the morning with this 100% organic instant coffee, made with the addition of a mushroom blend for sustained, even energy, per the brand.
Need a kitchen towel refresh? This luxe-looking yet affordable set of five is made from 100% terry cotton.
Another solid All in Motion deal: this convertible tote-meets-backpack, which has a laptop pocket, water bottle compartment and a soft, neoprene exterior.
Another way to upgrade your home workouts? Arm weights! Just loop these around your wrists and every movement your arms make will be that much more challenging (in a good way).
If cooking more often is on your goals list, treat yourself to this colorful set of nesting bowls with lids. Each bowl has a convenient non-slip base, so they stay in place on the counter as you're stirring and mixing.
David Protein bars have become hugely popular, thanks to their high protein content and low calories. The chocolate chip cookie dough flavor is editor-approved and makes for a protein-rich alternative to your usual afternoon sweet treat.
For taking snacks to work or even storing leftovers, consider this set of dishwasher-, freezer- and microwave-safe containers. They're just the right size for sauces, yogurt, nuts and more.
Whether you like using a blender for smoothies, sauces or even food processing, this Nutribullet is a smart, space-saving buy.
I (Marrison) am a loyal Nutribullet user and I wouldn't trade it for any other blender (including those $400 options, which I've tried). What I appreciate the most is how powerful it is, as it manages to break down my frozen berries every time, and that clean up is so simple. Plus, if you're someone who stores their blender in the cupboard, the Nutribullet is so easy to access.
