Last year, a video from Cut.com showed us in only one minute how hair and makeup has changed for women in the U.S. in the past 100 years.

Now the site has released a new version of their beauty history lesson, with black hair. The video, titled "100 Years of Beauty: Marshay," after the model featured in the video, shows how women with natural hair have styled themselves through every decade since 1910.

From the highly-styled "updos" of the '40s to the beehives from the 60's and Janet Jackson "Poetic Justice" braids of the '90s, check out the full 1-minute video to see all the styles.

And to see the two videos side-by-side, see Cut.com's fun comparison.
