Ingredients
- 1 garlic clove, peeled
- 1 cup cooked garbanzo beans, drained
- 3 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1 stalk celery, cut into thick sticks
- 3 ounce deli-style sliced fat-free turkey
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley
Preparation
Baking Directions:
1.Preheat the oven or toaster oven to 350°F.
Wrap the garlic clove in foil and roast for 10 minutes.
For the hummus, in a food processor, combine the roasted garlic, garbanzo beans, lemon juice, and olive oil.
Pulse until a smooth paste forms.
Season with salt and pepper.
(If the hummus is too thick, add a little water until it reaches the desired consistency.)
Serving Directions:
Arrange the celery sticks and turkey slices on plates.
Serve the hummus in a small bowl and garnish with dried parsley.
