A study from Cornell University used computer science to find patterns in the most memorable lines from film. (See: "Of all the gin joints," and "Frankly my dear, I don't give a damn.") The researchers found that the lines we use to annoy our friends by quoting endlessly have a similar structural rhythm.

After analyzing some 2,200 memorable movie quotes (how do we get this job?), they were able to teach a computer to identify movie quotes destined to stick in our heads.

Kathie Lee and Hoda shared their own favorites. KLG chose a speech from "Chariots of Fire" and Barbra Streisand's famous, "Hello, gorgeous" from "Funny Girl." Hoda went more lowbrow, citing her favorite as Melissa McCarthy's utterance of gastrointestinal distress from "Bridesmaids": "I'm not even confident of which end that came out of."

Oh, Hoda. In actuality, she said her favorite was Renee Zellweger's famous "You had me at hello," from "Jerry Maguire." Hearts and Hoda swoons.
