Alan Kalter, longtime announcer for David Letterman, dies at age 78


The iconic voice of the “Late Show with David Letterman,” Alan Kalter, has died at the age of 78. Kalter took over as “Late Show” announcer in 1995 and remained in the job until Letterman ended his tenure in 2015.
