It's finally starting to feel like fall on the plaza, and what better way to embrace the season than with cool Ambush Makeovers!
Our Ambush Makeover team of stylist to the stars Louis Licari and “captivating queen of couture” (as Kathie Lee Gifford called her) Jill Martin found two special ladies who were on girls' trips to New York City.
Tracy Hunt
Tracy Hunt of Oklahoma came to the plaza with her daughter Riley for an Ambush Makeover! The 44-year-old is pursuing a master's degree while teaching eighth grade full-time. While looking at her daughter, Hunt said of her makeover, "This is one of the most exciting moments of my life other than having this girl.”
Riley added, "She’s so selfless. She never really takes time for her, and so this is much needed."
“Oh, my goodness! You look so good,” Riley squealed.
Kathie Lee loved the new look, saying, "It's flirty. It's really adorable."
Licari explained that he added warmth and dimension to Hunt's hair and that the texture was much more modern.
For the outfit, Martin put Hunt in a 1. State jacket and Clara Sunwoo tank top with Talbots jeans.

Amanda Selph
Amanda Selph, 58, is also on a girls' trip, with her sister and daughter-in-law. Selph lives in Sebastian, Florida, and has been watching Ambush Makeover since day one! She was excited to finally be in front of the camera.
Selph walked down the red carpet in a gorgeous dress and didn't hold back her excitement after looking in the mirror, saying, "I love it!"
The Ambush team gave Selph's hair more depth and dimension in addition to a barely-there modern, soft wave. Martin added a black belt to the purple Nue by Shani dress.
