Ingredients
For the Prawns
- zest of 2 lemons
- 1/4 cup red pepper chile flakes
- 1/2 cup extra-virgin olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 10 jumbo U8 prawns
For the Lemon Pepper Sauce
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tablespoon lemon pepper seasoning
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1-4 tablespoons Frank's Red Hot
Preparation
1.In a large mixing bowl, combine lemon zest, chile flakes, olive oil, garlic powder, onion pepper and freshly ground black pepper.
2.Add prawns and marinate to a zip-tight plastic bag and refrigerate for 1 hour.
3. Once Prawns have been marinated, pat them dry and season with salt. In a grill pan set over medium-high heat, grill the prawns for about 2 minutes on each side, or until they are cooked through. Serve with lemon pepper sauce on the side.
