Ingredients

For the Prawns
  • zest of 2 lemons
  • 1/4 cup red pepper chile flakes
  • 1/2 cup extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 10 jumbo U8 prawns
For the Lemon Pepper Sauce
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tablespoon lemon pepper seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1-4 tablespoons Frank's Red Hot

Preparation

1.

In a large mixing bowl, combine lemon zest, chile flakes, olive oil, garlic powder, onion pepper and freshly ground black pepper.

 2.

Add prawns and marinate to a zip-tight plastic bag and refrigerate for 1 hour.

3.

Once Prawns have been marinated, pat them dry and season with salt. In a grill pan set over medium-high heat, grill the prawns for about 2 minutes on each side, or until they are cooked through. Serve with lemon pepper sauce on the side.
