Who should be voted off ‘Idol’?

Readers speak up about last night's performances
/ Source: msnbc.com

The finalists are down to 10 and about to move into single digits. Mikalah Gordon and Lindsey Cardinale are gone, as is Mario Vazquez. And tonight, someone else will get a plane ticket home.

Based on , who do you think should be the next person voted off "American Idol"?

Anthony
Anthony should go next. He is just so original, his voice is great, but he doesn't stand out. I love Carrie Underwood. — Cassy, Manitowoc, Wis.

Anthony Fedorov should go. He is too timid and unwilling to take risks!! — Amelia, Chicago

Anwar
Anwar should go. Nice guy but never, ever in tune. Nadia has been the best by far. Confident, original and great. Last week with the Mohawk and Lauper, she was outstanding but obviously lost on the press. Simon slagged her because she mentioned Mario, so America dutifully listened and made her bottom 2 (or Simon put her there anyway, regardless of voting). — Mike, Calgary

BoBo Bice should go home.  I am waiting for him to sing something other than rock ‘n’ roll.  I remember they told Ruben he needed to do something different (and he came out with the country song Sweet Home Alabama).  Well, Bo needs to do something different. (can't wait for Big Band week). I am rooting for Vonzell Solomon. She is proving herself over the last few weeks. — Janice, Gainesville, Va.

Bo disgusts me!  He absolutely is NOT idol material - he cannot possibly appeal to a large portion of the population, only that small portion of leftover hippies who adored the likes of Blood, Sweat & Tears, etc. Gross!  Yuck!  Go!!!!  Begone! He doesn't even sing that good.  He just makes that stupid sneer like he's wicked and that stupid hand gesture - get over it already! — Ridgeley, WV

Carrie
I am rooting for Carrie Underwood to win it all. I think she is fantastic. — Roger Quesenberry, Bunceton, Mo.

I'm rooting for Carrie Underwood. I picked her since the first time she sang. Great voice, beautiful look, and a real charm for personality. Someone who could be a great role model and "American Idol". I don't like Constantine. His voice isn't really that good and his rendition of "I Think I Love You " from the Partridge Family was one of the worst things I have heard this whole year on the show. — Mike, Appleton, Wis.

I think that Carrie Underwood is in the wrong competition. She should be on LeAnn Rimes' country competition, not this one. This is for pop/rock star.  I am not totally convinced about Anwar either. Most of his songs sound the same, there isn't too much of a change in his style of music choices and his voice doesn't have that fluctuation some of the others have. — Kris, Amsterdam, NY

Constantine
I wouldn't kick him off yet, but Constantine confused me.  Constantine used his ‘90s intro interview to talk about how the Seattle grunge scene inspired him to be a rocker, and then he picked a Bonnie Raitt R&B song...kind of disingenuous. — Michael, Cleveland

Constantine Maroulis!  If he winks into the camera one more time, I am going to be physically ill.  He reminds me of one of those lounge singers from the ‘60s or ‘70s, so cheesy! — Perry, Atlanta

Constantine doesn't have the greatest voice in the field, but he's playing the game REALLY smart, and I hate to admit it, but his charms are working me like a love sick teenager (and I'm a middle aged woman). — Marie, Salt Lake City

JessicaJessica should leave. Good voice, no stage presence. Carrie should win. She has it all! — Debbie, Santa Monica, Calif.

I am ready to Jessica Sierra to go. She doesn't have a bad voice, but she's inconsistent and lacks the appeal to be a real contender. I hate to be mean, but there's something about her that really grates on my nerves and I have a tough time watching her. — Melanie, Houston

Jessica Sierra should be the next American Idol!!!! — Abby, Orlando, Fla.

Nadia
I think that Nadia Turner should be kicked off because she doesn’t sound like an American Idol singer. Her voice goes through these back and forth stages and she can never get on the right note (sometimes). I want Carrie Underwood to be the next American Idol because she seems so down to earth, like Kelly Clarkson. She doesn’t seem snotty like some of the girls on there. — Kelly, Houston

NikkoI think the next person to go is Nikko. His performances are not earth shattering or anything to write home about. — Debby, Providence, R.I.

ScottScott Savol should not have made it to the final 12. He has zero stage presence and a voice to go with that statement. After last evening's performance, Vonzell has my vote to win this! — Cyndee Schipke, Medford, NJ

Scott Savol is not getting enough credit!  He's got an awesome voice; I love to hear him sing!  His voice is pure and it just flows from his mouth — he doesn't over-perform with a lot of runs and sharp high notes. He hits everyone of them!  I LOVED his rendition of "One Last Cry" — if I closed my eyes, I would have sworn it was Brian McKnight!!  I'm pulling for you Scott! — Jackie, Cincinnati

I think Scott Savol should go home. He won me over in the beginning but he hasn't improved. He is the same as he was at the auditions and everyone else is passing him up. Carrie Underwood or Bo Bice, it's a toss up on who should win. — Angela Miller, Tooele, Utah

It's Scott's time to go.  He was all over the place vocally, except where he should have been - on the right notes. — Spike, Tugboat, Nova Scotia

VonzellI do not think Vonzell has been given the credit she deserves.  I have to admit that she was not my favorite at the beginning, but in a few short weeks, she's improved tremendously.  She is beautiful, fun, elegant, and extremely talented.  She really does give me goosebumps when she sings. — Chanele, Chattanooga, Tenn.
