A new reality show is braving untested waters: da club.

Taking the camera behind the velvet rope and past burly bouncers, “The Club” will premiere on Spike TV Oct. 12. Scheduled for 10 episodes, the one-hour show will chronicle behind-the-scenes action at ICE as it undergoes a makeover to compete with the gaming hotels in Las Vegas.

The show began filming Monday.

Prominent personalities will include owner Ed Williams and disc jockey Paul Oakenfold. “The Club” also will follow the story lines of a press agent, an “efficiency expert” and several cocktail waitresses.

Spike TV said “The Club” will track the pressures and demands the people behind the party face in making ICE the ultimate nightlife experience: “From the bachelor and the bachelorette parties to the celebrity stop-bys, cameras will be ever-present as ICE’s guests revel in the excess and put the club’s new changes to the test.”
