During a cooking segment featuring Paul Corsentino, the chef at New York's delicious The National accidentally smashed a glass of white burgundy on top of some scallops he was about to cook up for Kathie Lee and Hoda. (If you need to, observe a moment of silence for the white burgundy. It's OK to grieve.)
Our co-anchors were good sports, declaring that they didn't mind a little grit with their seafood. There were other, non-shard-filled scallops on hand, and they declared him an "excellent chef."
"I'm a little clumsy," he admitted.
But KLG just seemed relieved, gloating, "It wasn't me this time."
