John Mellencamp and Meg Ryan have recently been spotted together in New York City, and it appears the two are more than just friends.
According to a source close to the 59-year-old Mellencamp, who spoke to People, the two have been "quietly dating" for about seven weeks. Mellencamp recently announced his separation from his wife Elaine after 18 years of marriage.
Mellencamp has been married three times and has five children, including two sons with Elaine. Ryan, 49, was married to Dennis Quaid; they divorced in 2001 after 10 years of marriage. They have a son, Jack, and Ryan also has a daughter, Daisy True, who she adopted from China.
