The Latin Grammy Awards return to the Shrine Auditorium this fall.

The sixth annual awards show will be televised live Nov. 3 on the Univision Television Network from the historic site near downtown, the second consecutive year the ceremony will originate from Los Angeles.

Nominations will be announced Aug. 23.

The first four Latin Grammy ceremonies were held in Los Angeles, but in 2003 organizers staged the show in Miami. It was moved back to California in 2004.

Awards in 43 categories will be presented during the three-hour show, which also features a variety of performances.

The Latin Recording Academy is an international, membership-based organization comprised of Spanish- and Portuguese-speaking recording artists, musicians, songwriters, producers and other creative and technical recording professionals.
